Physiotherapy can be used to treat musculoskeletal conditions that affect joints, muscles, tendons and ligaments

All of our physiotherapists have significant experience in the management of musculoskeletal conditions.

One of our specialist fields is the management of complex or difficult conditions, so many of our patients come to our clinics for a second opinion or to explore how our approach can help them.

For the diagnosis and treatment of such conditions, you will receive a detailed thorough assessment and a treatment plan to relieve your symptoms. The emphasis of the clinic is to spend time with our patients to ensure that they receive excellent care of the highest standard.

There are many treatment options for musculoskeletal conditions including manual therapy, where joints and soft tissue can be mobilised to alleviate pain and restore function. Electrotherapy, such as ultrasound and Shockwave therapy (RPW), can also be highly effective to promote healing.

Each patient receives a tailored exercise programme, where appropriate, to help stretch and strengthen the area involved to allow good functional movement and the reduction of pain.

Some of the most common musculoskeletal conditions we treat are:

* Back and neck pain
* Hip, knee and shoulder pain
* Tennis and golfers' elbow
* Achilles tendon problems
* Plantar fasciitis
