Isobel specialises in vestibular rehabilitation to treat of a variety of conditions, including Vestibular Neuronitis, Labyrinthitis, Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) and Ménière’s Disease.
The most common symptom of these chronic, debilitating conditions is dizziness, which makes it difficult for patients to stand and walk; in the most severe cases it is impossible to sit up or get out of bed.
Isobel treats these conditions with a range of exercises designed to improve the body’s natural balancing system, including the Epley Manoeuvre.
Having graduated from St George’s Hospital Medical School, London, in 2005, Isobel went on to gain an MSc in Clinical Neurosciences. She specialised in treating patients with neurological problems at the UK’s leading hospital that treats neurological conditions, the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, London, where she successfully treated people with complex problems, including long term conditions including strokes and other brain injuries, MS, Parkinson’s, Ataxias, brain tumours, functional, vestibular, spinal injury and neuromuscular conditions. Isobel also treats patients with musculoskeletal conditions.
